The key ability of each lock is described below, and the locks are ordered from highest to lowest priority for most parties. Knowing the abilities of each lock, and focusing on the one your party is least well-equipped to handle will make the fight go much more smoothly. Most parties will be more severely impacted by certain denials over others - burst down the lock that you feel hurts your team the most (more on how to choose below).īecause each lock targets the Heroes uniquely, they are not all created equal in priority. Each lock will disable a class of items and abilities which can hamstring your party until the effect is switched out for another. The real difference between the locks is in their denial abilities. The locks all share similar attacks - one that distributes stress and damage between two heroes, and a single target attack. If the player enters The Mountain with full Loathing, the Boss (in this case all four locks) will gain several benefits, and the Heroes will be afflicted with debuffs.
